Hello! My name is Gorgal, and I am just as unique and strange as my name.
I am a large, round ginger boy that loves to spend my days sleeping in quiet places and squawking at my foster parents at random times.
I took a long time to settle in to my foster home as I am very shy and anxious. I wasn’t sure of my surroundings and it was very scary, but I was glad to have another cat around to reassure me. We get along quite well. It’s nice to have a familiar smell around. If you have another cat, or thinking of adopting another, I would love the idea of having a friend!
When I’m relaxed and chilling in my hidey-hole, I let my foster parents pat my head and I might even purr a little bit. I’m slowly building up trust with them. I think it will be worth it so I can get lots of pats in the future. Right now, the idea of them touching me a lot scares me.
I would love to find my forever home to settle in to. I might not be your average cuddly cat, but together, I think I could really come out of my shell. It just takes time and effort. I will need to be an indoor cat so that I'm protected from sun damage.
If you come see me I’ll do my best to make you fall in love with me. Come see me at my foster home in Cannington!
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
