Pursonality traits

Hi, we are Yoko and Lennon! We are a very adorable bonded pair who love each other very much! Sadly we were surrendered together because our owner could no longer take care of us.

We need a forever home where we can minimise our exposure to sun damage. While in foster care Lennon has been shedding some of his excess weight and hopefully this can continue until he reaches his goal weight.

You can meet us in our foster home in Baldivis.

Yoko has a skin condition which has caused severe hair loss and itching in the past. There are a number of different things that can cause this condition, and it can be difficult to determine the underlying cause without specialists testing and trials. It is not known what causes Yoko's skin reaction, therefore it is important that you use a variety of preventative measures. Allergic skin conditions can recur throughout an animal’s lifetime and continued treatment/ intermittent medication may be required.

Lennon has been noted to have a small chip in his Left upper canine tooth that was present when he came to the shelter. Our veterinarians have carefully assessed this chip and no further treatment is currently required. Yoko and Lennon both have mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats. Yoko has also presented with a mild case of Gingivitis which is an inflammation of the gums. Dental hygiene may help prevent its development. There are several measures you can take to improve cats' dental health. Ask the cat welfare officer who is assisting you for a dental hygiene handout. We have recommended that they stay on a dental hygiene diet.

Cat Haven does not take any responsibility for any subsequent conditions or issues that may develop in the future as a result of these conditions.
