Hi my name is Chino. I've not had a good run in my short life and so I am very scared, hissy and growly. But don't let that put you off! I am a big chonky girl and I am currently staying at my foster carer's home who is trying to help me be less scared. I need lots of patience and even though sometimes I look scary to you, it's because I am scared myself.
I can be wrapped up and picked up and I can sit in your lap and let you stroke me for a while. I like my own space and am used to being around other cats too. I am trying my best to get used to people and am very jumpy with people coming and going. I am not your average lap cat and will needs lots of patience and love for someone who is willing to take very small steps.
My foster mum says I'm really pretty and trying hard to overcome my fears... will you be the one that can help me too?
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
