Hello I'm Godfrey! I'm an adorable young Tuxedo boy. I have a beautiful purr-sonality. I'm gentle, love being carried around the house, love pats and cuddles, having a snooze next to my foster parents on the couch or in my bed, and I love to run around and play.
I enjoy company so I would be happy having someone who is home often. Before every meal I do the cutest flop and roll on the floor to thank my foster parents and show them I love them. I haven't been around kids but I think I would be fine with them, and I'm good with other cats, in fact I would like a feline friend. I have a cute and funny habit of splashing the water in my bowl before drinking, so I need my bowl inside a litter tray with a towel under it :) I've had some dental work done and the vet says I should have dental biscuits to keep my teeth nice.
I really am a lovely cat and will make everyone in my new home very happy. I look forward to meeting you at my foster home in Scarborough.
Godfrey has a heart murmur. The murmur has been assessed by Cat Haven veterinary staff as mild (grade three or less) and not likely to cause any adverse effects on your cat’s health. It is still advised that you have your primary care veterinarian monitor the heart murmur each time your cat has their annual health check.
Godfrey has chronic sinusitis, most likely a result of a previous cat flu infection. Whilst this will likely not impact your cats well being, there are a few things to monitor for in the future.
Godfrey had his left top canine tooth removed as he had a congenital abnormality. The tooth was the maxillary(upper) L canine and it was rotated and rubbing on the mandibular(lower)L canine causing a malocclusion and it required extraction. The lower canine is also abnormal as it is rotated and is pushing into the top lip. Our specialist dentist feels that a callus may form here and if that happens then we can leave the tooth in place
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
