Hi, my name is Oak. It’s a nice strong name that I hope to live up to one day. Right now, I like pretending to be an acorn, hiding away and curling up a small as possible because I’m very scared.
I am a black and white tuxedo boy who will need a lot of patience and love from my new family. Right now I am in foster care where my foster mum is trying to improve my confidence.
I’m so scared that my purrsonality hasn’t shone though yet, but if you have time we can find it together? I do a lot of running, hiding, growling and hissing at the moment. Once I even swiped at my foster mummy, but she knows I didn’t mean it. We are working together to make me feel better, but it will take a long time. I’m going to be scared all over again when I leave, but my foster mummy says a furrever family will love me all the same and be willing to put the time in with me.
Despite how scared I am I am good at using litter. However foster mummy says I need a really tall tray cause I put too much effort into covering my ‘presents’ and accidentally spill kitty litter. I like to eat, but I am too scared to do it in front of people.
I have a pale pink nose so I should be kept indoors only. I would do best in a quiet home with someone who has plenty of patience and can wait for me to slowly come out of my acorn shell.
Come meet me online in my foster home which is in Carramar. Looking forward to meeting with you in the future.
Meow for now, Oak xx
To meet me in foster care please contact our foster care department on:
The foster carer will then be in touch to discuss this further and arrange a meeting. If after leaving your details you have not heard from anyone after 48 hours, please let us know. Once you’ve decided to give a foster cat or kitten a furrever home you’ll need to come to Cat Haven in person to complete the adoption paperwork before taking them home. We can’t wait to hear from you!
